It all started when...

When I joined a startup that just received $25M in funding with a plan to triple the engineering team in 2015, I  spent almost all my waking hours on hiring. I worked evenings and weekends for over 6 months to hire 25 great engineers. Painful was an understatement for hiring engineers in the red hot San Francisco market in 2015.  There ought to be a better way....

Although any good engineer can find a job the next day; it is still difficult for engineers to discover perfect opportunities that fit the desired industry, technology, size, culture, location, etc.

Our mission is to help companies build productive teams and to help engineers find fulfilling jobs. I love to build teams and help engineers grow their careers. Starting a recruiting company means that I can do that not just for my company, I will also be able to play a small part for all of 10 by 10's customers.

Diversity is a well-known concern in Silicon Valley and I want to be part of the solution. By starting a recruiting company, I will find ways to reduce the bias in hiring and increase diversity in tech companies.
